Resim 68Inorganic analysis (ICP-MS)

All bodily fluids and tissues, water and food samples, soil, glass and all types of solid evidence or samples are tested for trace elements (Se, I etc.), toxic elements (As, Hg, Pb, Al, Ni etc.) and basic elements (Ca, Mg, K, P etc.) via qualitative and quantitative inorganic analysis.

Samples Admission Criteria
Urine, water and all types of liquid samples
• Sterile, plastic, screw-cap urinal or plastic sterile container; at least 5 mL.
• Metal capped jar, bottle etc. is strictly forbidden.
• Please contact for more detail on procedures concerning the collection of urine along with use of DMSA.  (0212 414 30 00/22826).
Blood
• EDTA containing (purple capped), possibly plastic, if not glass blood collection vials; at least 2 mL.

• Hair samples thick as a pencil must be collected from the top area of the back of the neck.
• Both ends of the hair must be marked as root and end.
• Must be preserved in a paper envelope or plastic bag.
• Hair measure must be of at least 0.3 grams.
• Usage of aluminium foils must be strictly avoided.

All types of solid samples (cosmetic, food, paint etc.)
• Depending on circumstance of the samples, must be preserved in a paper envelope or plastic bag.
• At least 1 grams.
Report deadline: 6-12 work days.


Sedative and drug active substance analysis (HPTLC, GC-MS and LC-MS/MS)

Sedative and drug active substance analysis of biological samples such as hair, urine, blood, saliva

Samples Admission Criteria

Urine
Plastic, screw-cap sterile urinal,  20-50 mL.
Blood
• Whole blood samples are collected in EDTA containing vials (purple capped), 10 mL.
Serum
• Dry vial (yellow capped), 10 mL blood is collected.
• Santrifuged and segregated serum is sent to our lab via capped vial.

  • Hair samples thick as a pencil must be collected from the top area of the back of the neck.
  • Cut hair strands must be in alignment and tied tightly.
  • Both ends of the hair must be marked as root and end.
  • Hair measure must be of at least 0.5 grams.
  • Must be taken note, if hair is dyed. Must be preserved in paper envelope or wrapped aluminium foil.

Report deadline: 10-20 work days.


Alcohol and Volatile Substance analysis (HSGC-MS)

Blood, urine, all types of liquids, industrial waste etc. samples are tested for ethanol, methanol, and volatile substances such as benzene, toluene, xylene.

Samples Admission Criteria

Blood
• At least 3 mL blood samples in EDTA (purple capped) or NaF (blue capped) vials must be transfered to our laboratory the same day. The sampling time must be recorded on the label on the vial. During the drawing of blood, use of alcohol dipped cotton balls for sanitizing the surface must strictly be avoided.

• Tightly sealed containers, at least 5 mL.

Industrial material (Textile, fiber, food etc.)
• At least 3 grams of sample, in tightly sealed plastic bag or container.

All types of liquid samples
• At least 3 mL of sample, in tightly sealed glass or plastic vial.

Report deadline: 1-3 work days.


NOTE: In condition where more than one test is requested for the same sample, sample size must properly increase to meet all requirements. Time needed for reporting may change due to technical conditions. Please contact for more detail. (+90 212 414 30 00 #22826)
